Recognition of Prior Learning & Credit Transfer
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an “assessment only pathway” and is offered to individuals who can demonstrate their current skills, without a need for further training in the area.
These skills may be demonstrated in a number of ways, for example:
- Interview or structured questioning
- On-the-job assessment
- Documentary evidence (eg references from employers, outlines for completed training programs, portfolio of supporting evidence)
- Audio visual evidence (eg videos, photographs, tapes)
- Examples of work
- Practical demonstration in a simulated environment
- Practical/theory tests
- Completion of a project

Under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) standards, Lotus Performance Management recognises and accepts the assessment decisions of any other Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Please provide Statements of Attainment or Qualifications if you are seeking credit for units you have already completed.
